Commentary Team & Tournament Arbiters Announced For The Third Leg of The Grand Chess Tour

SuperUnited Rapid & Blitz Croatia To Conclude The European Legs of GCT

July 13, 2022 The Grand Chess Tour (GCT) has confirmed the commentary team and the arbiters for SuperUnited Rapid & Blitz Croatia. The third leg of the Grand Chess Tour will feature a commentary team composed of Grandmasters Yasser Seirawan, Cristian Chirila, Evgeny Miroshnichenko, and Alejandro Ramirez as well as Woman Grandmaster Anastasia Karlovich.

In conjunction with the GCT, Chief Tour Arbiter IA David Sedgwick and Deputy Tour Arbiter IA Chris Bird have confirmed the event arbiters. IA Nenad Doric shall serve as Event Chief Arbiter, and he will be assisted by NA Zeljko Matkun as Event Deputy Arbiter.

The SuperUnited Rapid & Blitz Croatia is sponsored by Superbet Foundation and features a 10 player round-robin battle for a total of $175,000 in prize money.

The SuperUnited Rapid & Blitz Croatia will be held in Zagreb, Croatia at The Westin Zagreb from July 20 - 24, 2022 with rounds beginning at 3:00pm daily (EEST).
