See You In Saint Louis
Prior to joining the Grand Chess Tour, The Sinquefield Cup was a tournament hosted by the Saint Louis Chess Club and featured some of the world's best players. The 2015 Sinquefield Cup was the second stop on the inaugural 2015 Grand Chess Tour tour. Held in classical format, 10 of the world's best battled it out in nine rounds for $300,000 in prize money. Ultimately, Armenia's Levon Aronian beat out the fierce competition to take the first place prize and 13 Grand Chess Tour points. Magnus Carlsen took second place and Hikaru Nakamura took third.
