Turning a Library into an Arena
The National Library of India
Originally known as the Calcutta Public Library, The National Library of India was established in 1836 and became the first public library in its region of India. With a focus on modernization and bringing unique exhibitions to its halls, the Library was a natural fit to host the tournament and draw excitement to Chess within the country.
