Nodirbek Abdusattorov is one of the world’s top players, originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He won the 2021 World Rapid Championship at the age of 17 years and 3 months, becoming the youngest ever World Champion in any time control. He is also a former World Youth Champion, as well as the holder of many junior records. In 2022, Abdusattorov led Uzbekistan to a team gold medal in the 2022 Chennai Olympiad, earning an individual silver for Board 1. After winning the 2024 Prague Masters, Abdusattorov rose to #4 in the world rankings, as well as #1 for juniors.
