2022 Sinquefield Cup

As the only remaining destination to be part of every Grand Chess Tour, The Sinquefield Cup continues to be an essential element of the GCT circuit. Sponsored by the Saint Louis Chess Club annually in the America's chess capital of Saint Louis, MO the Sinquefield Cup continues its tradition of classical format that will conclude the 2022 Grand Chess Tour. As the ending tour stop, this will be the final opportunity for competitors to earn points for a chance to be crowned champion of the entire Grand Chess Tour.  

The Sinquefield Cup Opening Ceremony will be held on September 1st from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at World’s Fair Pavilion (1904 Concourse Drive St. Louis, MO 63110) in Forest Park and will be open to the public. Tickets are $25 per person. Complimentary valet. Learn more and purchase your tickets here.

Live spectators will not be allowed in the tournament hall to watch the daily rounds but fans can watch all the action online or watch the broadcast streaming live at the Saint Louis Chess Club.
